Why digital signage should not be this hard

Most signage software is expensive for what it does.

Walk into any showroom, cafe, or clinic and you will see screens showing offers, menus, and announcements. Behind most of them is signage software that charges a lot, locks you into specific hardware, and falls over the moment the internet hiccups. For something that just needs to play the right content on the right screen, that is a lot of friction.

adNubo strips that back. Plug in an Android TV, pair it, and you can push content to it from a dashboard you open anywhere. Build playlists, schedule what plays and when, split a screen into zones, and manage one screen or a hundred across every location from the same place. And when the internet drops, the screen keeps playing, because the content is already there.

Best part: it is free to start. One screen, no bill, so you can see it work before you spend anything. We want it in as many hands as possible.

What it does

Manage every screen from one dashboard

Upload, schedule, and control your displays across locations, and keep them playing even offline.

Cloud dashboard

Control every screen from a browser, wherever you are. Change what is playing on a screen across town without leaving your desk.

Media and playlists

Upload images, video, and banners, then arrange them into playlists that loop on your screens exactly how you want.

Scheduling

Decide what plays and when, per screen. Show the lunch menu at noon and the evening offer after six, automatically.

Offline playback

Content is stored on the player, so screens keep playing even if the internet drops. No blank screen in front of customers.

Multi-screen fleet

Run one screen or a whole network across many locations, all managed centrally, with each screen showing the right thing.

Layouts and zones

Split a screen into zones, so you can run a video, a banner, and a ticker at once instead of one thing at a time.

Who it's for

Who adNubo is built for

Anyone with a screen and something to show on it. It shines for businesses with more than one location to keep in sync.

  • Retail and showrooms. Show offers, new arrivals, and brand content on screens across stores, updated centrally in seconds
  • Restaurants and cafes. Run digital menus that change by time of day, with no reprinting and no fiddling at each screen
  • Clinics and offices. Display announcements, token numbers, and information in waiting areas, controlled from the front desk or head office
  • Multi-location businesses. Keep every branch on-brand and on-message from one dashboard, instead of emailing files to each location

Why we built it

Built to put good signage within reach of everyone.

Digital signage has been a walled garden for too long: pricey subscriptions, proprietary hardware, and features locked behind tiers. We looked at it and thought most businesses just want to show the right content on a screen without a fight or a big bill. So we built adNubo to be simple, to work on ordinary Android TV hardware, and to start free.

It runs on the same principle as everything we make: solve the real problem plainly, and let people try it before they pay. One free screen means a small shop can put it on a single TV and a chain can test it across a few locations, no commitment.

adNubo comes from the same team behind dripBot and croZap. Building and running our own products is how webMonx stays sharp, and it is why we can help you with the marketing that goes on those screens, not just the screens themselves.

Questions, answered

adNubo FAQs

Is adNubo really free?

Yes, you can start free with one screen, no bill and no card required. That is there so you can actually see it working in your space before spending anything. Paid plans cover additional screens as you grow, and our goal is to keep the entry point genuinely free so more businesses can use it.

What hardware do I need?

adNubo runs on Android TV, so you need a TV plus an Android TV device, or a TV that runs Android TV built in. You install the adNubo player, pair it to your dashboard, and you are set. You do not need special proprietary hardware, which is a big part of what keeps it affordable.

Does it work if the internet goes down?

Yes, and this is one of its best features. The content your screen needs is stored on the player itself, so if the internet drops, the screen keeps playing what it is supposed to. When the connection comes back, it syncs any changes. Your customers never see a blank or frozen screen.

Can I manage screens in different locations?

Absolutely. adNubo is built for exactly this. You manage every screen across every location from one dashboard, and each screen can show its own content on its own schedule. Update a branch on the other side of the city without leaving your seat.

How is this different from just plugging in a USB stick?

A USB stick shows one loop and someone has to physically visit the screen to change it. adNubo lets you update any screen remotely, schedule different content by time of day, run several zones at once, and manage a whole fleet centrally, while still playing offline. It is the difference between a static loop and a screen network you actually control.
